Sporting
an excellent portrait of King Charles, slightly weak at the
tip of the crown and the hair at the back of the head. Otherwise
a nice strike with a strong reverse.
An oval shaped flan, may have had a touch of the old silver
shaving practice.
An above average hammered coin from the coinage of Charles
I which is notorious for weakly struck specimens.
Maybe
worth noting are that the anchor mintmark has the flukes to
the left, I saw many with flukes to right in Booker, but none
to the left on the obverse.
Reverse mintmark up and down.
