A rarely offered date, as
are any of the 4th bust sixpences after 1608.
This is your opportunity to
pick up one of the better examples. Sporting a decent portrait,
excellent crown and armour detail.
Strong legends as well. Quite a nice reverse although there
is a weak spot that goes through the last digit of the date,
but enough of the date shows, as well as the Key mintmark
confirms it is indeed 1609.
