Maybe not the greatest example of a James I Sixpence, but is a very hard date to locate, the first I have owned. Not too bad of a portrait, but there is a largish chunk of silver missing a 9 o'clock. The legends are quite strong and the bell mintmark is very clear. The reverse has reasonable detail in the shield and some parts of the legend are very strong. The nice part is the strong date!
