1687 1/2 Crown of James II

Here is quite a respectable silver half crown from the short reign of James II to add to your collection.

Quite a nice portrait of James and fairly strong legends.

The reverse is decent, the date is a little weak, hard to tell if the 6 is sporting an 8 underneath, I doubt it . . . .

This is the 1st Bust and has Tertio
on the edge.
